I build things that move, sense, and solve.

I’m Ridhima Gupta, a Mechanical Engineering Honors student at UT Austin working at the intersection of physical systems, computation, and product design.

01 / ABOUT

Engineering, with a product mindset.

I like working on problems where the physical and digital worlds meet: designing an experimental rig, writing the computer vision that measures it, building the control loop that responds to it, and thinking about how a person will actually use the final system.

My experience spans research, prototyping, engineering operations, and technical product work — from magnetic nanoparticle navigation and EMG sensing to internal workflow tools and web products.

2025 — PRESENT R&D LEADERSHIP

R&D EMG Subteam Lead

Longhorn Neurotech

Leading an 8-person team developing an EMG armband sensor array with OpenBCI hardware, while coordinating experiments, technical decisions, and prototyping milestones.

02
SUMMER 2026 ENGINEERING

Engineering Intern

Wuest Group Engineering & Surveying

Built an internal resource-locking workflow for an 8–10 person engineering team, redesigned the company website to cut recurring costs by 40%, and supported technical due diligence and municipal review responses.

03
SUMMER 2024 NANOTECH

Student Researcher

UC San Diego · Summer School for Silicon Nanotechnology

Investigated porous silicon quantum dots and trained on materials-characterization methods including FTIR, Raman spectroscopy, Dynamic Light Scattering, and Scanning Electron Microscopy.

WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR

I’m especially excited by teams building robotics, medical devices, consumer hardware, advanced manufacturing, and technical products where I can move between engineering detail and the bigger product question.

04 / CONTACT

Let’s build something useful.

I’m always interested in engineering, product, robotics, and research opportunities.
